The Library currently holds more than 5000 records published from 1840 to present, related to various aspects of the Antarctic, from international law to Earth Sciences, from the enviromental protection to Social Sciences, from life sciences to exploration. The collection includes books, proceedings of conferences, data reports, thesis, periodicals, maps, reprints, videos, audio-cassettes, and slides available at the three sections of the Museum: Genova (GE), Siena (SI) and Trieste (TS).
