Over 1100 meteorite specimens are preserved at the Museo in Siena. The collection primarily includes meteorites recovered from the Antarctic by the Italian Programma Nazionale di Ricerche in Antartide (PNRA), but also specimens of particular scientific interest from various locations in other continents. |
