Abstract
- Quaternary sediments recovered in the Ross Sea, from cores ANTA91-8
(offshore basin) and ANTA96-5bis (inner continental platform basin)
were found to contain siliceous sponge spicules.
The two assemblages consist mainly of monaxon forms but also include
variable numbers of triaxonal spicules.
